The mouth is not only an eating area, but also a station where they establish all life-related relationships. They put all objects to their mouths and try to feel its intensity with their tongue and lips. They also smell that object. Therefore, toys that are not too small (small parts or pieces could cause choking hazards) and that do not contain harmful dyes should be preferred.
